Senegal hosts Youth Olympics, making history for Africa

Senegal is the first African country ever to host an Olympic event.  The Senegalese capital Dakar and two other cities will welcome 2,700 athletes aged 15 to 18, competing in 25 sports in the Youth Olympics.  The games begin on October 31.
