From Texas to Oklahoma to Arkansas and Tennessee, Northport rock band Arcy Drive is hitting the road to spread their music beyond Long Island. The band’s official tour listing includes seven shows, including two at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, and five different cities this October. That’s going to be an opportunity to see these homegrown musicians perform in places like Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Memphis, and Austin.

The Northport-based rock band will return home Oct. 29 for a show at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh, giving local fans a chance to see a group that started out on Long Island. The band is set to take the stage at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.

“We are really excited to give Long Island fans a chance to see their favorite band on a local stage,” said Tim Murray, event booking manager at Mulcahey’s. “ We felt like we wanted to give homegrown talent a chance to showcase their work to the fans they knew first.”

This span of shows will cover nearly 2,000 miles, measuring the distance of their tour in miles driven. Their tour makes it clear that Arcy Drive is serious about building a national following, as well as being an example of the work musicians can put in to make it happen.

Although shows alone won’t prove whether the band’s efforts are paying off, the number of scheduled performances and the distances between them provide measurable indicators of touring activity as well as their growth in following on all of their social media platforms. The band has even taken to YouTube to vlog and document their travel throughout their shows. “It’s cool because now you can just talk back and forth,” lead singer Nick Mateyunas said.

When Arcy Drive began touring, the band traveled in a converted school bus, playing dive bars and music halls as they worked to find a following. According to the band’s record label, Grand Jury Music, the group launched its sold-out Static Tour in March 2023, which included a sold-out show at Bowery Ballroom in New York City as well as stops in places such as Los Angeles, Washington, Nashville, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Philadelphia.

The band’s touring activity has continued to grow. According to Concert Archives, Arcy Drive had 16 recorded concerts in 2022 and 52 in 2023. Their archive lists 66 concerts in 2025 and 51 in 2026 as of its latest available update. “ I think the band has really focused on being themselves, and it has allowed more people to want to know them… I definitely say that’s been one of the biggest things we’ve seen for growth,” said Lou Nocito, the band’s manager. Although these numbers may not count every concert, they represent a measurable comparison of the band’s touring activity.

The difference between those early years and the band’s current schedule shows how far Arcy Drive has come from its local following. Its tour history includes performances around the country, but its more recent schedule includes stops at bigger venues and music festivals. The band’s return to Mulcahy’s in Wantagh on Oct. 29 is part of that story, showing the group returning to Long Island after years of playing for others elsewhere.
