Five Towns College students danced their hearts and sneakers away from 8 pm to 1 am at the FTC Sneaker Ball on Friday, April 14th.

“I just love the fact that everyone came out and was ready to have such a good time,” said Junior Music Business major Harry Williams. “Everybody came out in such amazing outfits. The decor is so amazing. The music is amazing, and everybody is just letting loose.”

DJ Stan the Man, FTC 2021 alum, once again provided the bumpin’ beat in the Downbeat at one of the best Friday nights of the Spring semester. The night was full of singing, dancing, conga lines, and buffet-style good eats.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) produced this event theme with a twist- wear formal attire with your favorite sneakers!

Junior Musical Theatre major and CAB member Caitlin Scott pitched and planned the party idea, explaining, “It’s fun, and it’s diverse. Everyone doesn’t have to have heels on and hurt their feet”.

Scott believes that comfort for all contributes to a great party atmosphere. Her goal “is just to have fun, meet new people, try new things, as far as fashion and stuff. This [party] is just something fun.”
