FTC Mass Comm student Madelyn Llanes tells Reporter Jeff Kramer how she became part of a Met Gala viral moment after rapper A$AP Rocky jumped over her before the red carpet event.
Before this year’s Met Gala, FTC Mass Comm student Madelyn Lanes camped out at Manhattan’s Carlyle Hotel to photograph celebrities heading to the event. The celebration of fashion turned interesting when a man jumped over both Llanes and a barricade to get into the hotel. The puzzled crowd was shocked to see that the man was rapper A$AP Rocky. The moment went viral with cameras everywhere, and so did Madelyn Llanes.
Llanes spoke to FTC Reporter Jeff Kramer in Studio 400 about the experience and aftermath.
