Five Towns College is partnering with the New York Blood Center to host the 2nd Annual Blood Drive this Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The New York Blood Center declared an Emergency Blood Shortage as of January 6th, citing holiday disruptions, severe winter weather, cancelled drives, and widespread seasonal illness as contributing factors.
The event will take place in the Downbeat, and appointments are available from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm that day. This event is open to Five Towns College students, faculty, and staff. FTC Students can receive 2 community service hours by making a donation.
