During the 2024 Commencement Exercises, Five Towns College honored the Hon. Justice William G. Ford with a Doctor of Humane Letters. Justice Ford was part of the second graduating class of Five Towns College in 1976, graduating with an Associate’s degree in Jazz/Commercial Music. College President Dr. David Cohen introduced Justice Ford and spoke of his many accomplishments in both the law and music.Â
Five Towns then paid tribute to Justice Ford’s musical career with a performance of I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. Justice Ford toured with Gloria Gaynor through the Middle East, South America, Mexico and England from 1982 to 1985.
After the Commencement Exercises, Justice Ford stopped by the FTC Sound Stream for a conversation with hosts Jace DeMarco and Daniel Garcia in the Gene Free Studios.
