FTC Mass Comm student Meghan Tinelli photographs NY Fashion Week

FTC Mass Comm student Meghan Tinelli recently had the opportunity to work as a photographer on the media team for New York Fashion Week. Tinelli’s academic concentration in Live Media and Entertainment Production has given her a variety of skills to prepare for this position.  Some of Tinelli’s tasks at Fashion Week included capturing behind-the-scenes moments with the models and designers, showcasing details and textures of the fashion, and engaging with influencers, guests, and designers to highlight the focus on the brands.

Tinelli shared her photos with The Record Online as well as a reflection on some of her favorite parts of this experience:

“Working with Revive, I got the ability to work behind the scenes, capture content, and engage with industry professionals in the fashion industry and beyond. There were dozens of different roles each person played putting together this event, such as stylists, interns, media, producers, and creative directors. Some of the brands included Jolea Jacobs, Musa, and Zento Pierre.

Ella Titus is the designer of Vellachor, a whimsical clothing brand created in Los Angeles. This brand headlined Revive’s 2025 New York Fashion Week and was heavily involved in the week’s events. I got to witness what goes behind getting ready for Fashion Week and all the responsibilities a designer has. It was an amazing experience to see how she decided on everything from the casting calls to the specific runway attire.”
