Five Towns students sure love Big Ticket Bingo. Campus Events hosted the popular high-stakes event on Tuesday in the Downbeat from 6 to 9 pm.

Students faced off in five competitive rounds, with each having its own unique set of rules. The first round kicked off with classic Bingo, while rounds two through four challenged students to mark their boards in the letters F-T-C. For the final round and grand prize, participants had to fill out the entire board in a round of blackout Bingo.

Assistant Dean for Campus Life brings intensity to the competition. “It is exciting and terrifying simultaneously, and that’s why I love getting to the final numbers, to really just tease everyone into that last number coming up for the excitement of yelling B-I-N-G-O,” Cavalli said.

The Spring 2025 Bingo prizes added to the excitement:

Round 1: FTC swag bag that included a hoodie and a beanie

Round 2: 30-dollar gift card

Round 3: 4K Portable Projector

Round 4: TLC 43” Smart TV

Round 5: Grand prize- AirPod Pros

Student Activities Coordinator Natalie Allouche shared announcing duties with Cavalli. “Announcing is actually one of my favorite things. The only scary thing is when we have more than one winner,” said Allouche.

Allouche’s Bingo fears came true when Mass Communication major Jace DeMarco won the 30-dollar gift card after a rock paper scissors duel broke the Round 2 tie . “I was able to pull out the win in the second round and got myself a gift card for a bunch of different places. I’m very glad I got to win something this time as I wasn’t that lucky last year. I am definitely going to put this to good use,” said DeMarco.

Film and Television major Daniel Albert took home the Round 4 Smart TV. “It’s a very interesting experience; I didn’t quite expect that as I kind of came here just to have a good time, but you know, it [the Smart TV] has a football player on the front, so it must be good.”
